Xenox S200

The Xenox S200 features a second-generation indirect conversion a-Si detector with an 85-micron pixel size, chosen as the best compromise between high spatial resolution and low noise. The system also offers an optional direct conversion a-Se detector. Combined with a Tungsten anode and Ag filter, this technology results in excellent image quality and a significant decrease in patient dose.

The system is equipped with an Advanced Automatic Exposure Control (AEC) that can operate in full automatic kV/mAs mode or manual kV/auto mAs mode. It evaluates the effective Breast Density via a pre-exposure X-Ray pulse or breast thickness. The advanced dynamic collimation system automatically selects the proper collimation format based on the exam type and compression paddle.

The Xenox S200 features a fully motorized Iso-centric C-Arm that allows all breast projections without moving the patient or adjusting the C-Arm height. The gentle AI compression system, both motorized and manual, is designed to guarantee optimal breast compression with minimal patient discomfort. The FTSE (Function of Tissue Strength Evaluation) automatically adjusts the optimal force based on breast density.

The system is configurable for advanced applications including Tomosynthesis and contrast mammography. It is upgradeable with a stereotactic biopsy device for precise tissue sampling. An optional device for geometric magnification (1.5x or 2x factor) is available, which automatically selects a small focus to reduce dose.
